Did you know that the Millennials are the first generation to call their parents their friends?

When it comes to feeling fearless in the workplace, Millennials want to know that it is safe for them to speak their mind. This generation was the first to grow up with parents whom they considered their friends. As kids, many were used to sitting down at the dinner table and processing their day. Many are used to this being well received and appreciated but the workplace may be telling them a different story. How do you respond when one of your Millennial employees shares a thought or an opinion (even if it might not be at the most opportune time)?
